Best in Show 2020
Normally each year I do my annual exhibition run down, but this year that’s gone out the window as the number of exhibitions I’ve seen is shockingly low (and largely Vienna based!). I missed Lynette Yiadom Boakye at the Tate Britain and know that would have blown my mind for example.
So instead I’m going to do a top ten of the exhibitions, cultural projects and publications that made my stomach jump. For me this will also be the year of the mushroom and my own three room show Mushrooms: The Art Design and Future of Fungi at Somerset House, and the launch of LIMBO magazine.
